How Is Google Making Money With Its Storage Products?

Gmail

Gmail is the number one email client for many people. It allows you to organize your emails from all the major providers including Google, Yahoo, and Hotmail, which are all included free of charge by Google. The Gmail app for iPhone and Android devices keeps everything you use on the go where you can access it wherever you are. You can sync your email, calendars and contacts right from your phone and tablet or if you have a Wi-Fi Internet connection at home and office, you can check your email on the go from anywhere with the Gmail app.

There are other ways to add more space for your Gmail account. Currently, each free Google account has 15 GB of free space for your Gmail, Drive, Contacts and Photos storage needs. When you upgrade to the Gmail 3.0 account, you can add an extra 15GB of space free of charge. The files and emails you store on Drive already count towards these extra 15GB but come June 1st, all those files and emails you upload will also count against your free storage space. This might mean that after June 1st you will have to start getting new emails in order to access all your files and contacts.

If you want to avoid being forced to add new mail in your gmail account, you should remove old junk mail by setting the "trash folder quota" to empty. This option can be found under Account Settings on the Gmail account settings page. You can also change this setting by going to "mail" then "general settings".

Once your new 15 gb Gmail storage space starts to fill up, it's time to make some choices about what you want to save on your Google Drive. Until recently, these options were only available for Google's paid services. Now that Google is starting to offer Drive for free, you can easily upload any of your files to this service. Also, since Drive offers a 30-day free trial, you can start using it right away.

To delete email attachments from your gmail account, you first have to go to the "mail" section of your gmail account. Under the "Inbox" section you will find a link that says" disposable items: spam filtered". Clicking on this link will give you a list of emails that are in your "junk mail" folder and where they are stored. To delete the email attachment, just click on the "Delete" button. This will permanently delete the item from your e-mail without warning.

As you can see, there are a number of reasons why Google is growing demand for their storage product. Apart from the free service, they also offer a paid storage program called G Suite which provides a higher storage space for a monthly fee. So even if you don't need or use all of the storage space provided by the paid programs, you should definitely invest in a Google Drive account. Even if you don't use Drive, you may still want to keep pace with the growing demand for storage space from other online applications. As more people begin using Facebook, YouTube, FourSquare, Twitter, etc... The need for online storage space goes up as does the price.
