Amazon, the American e-commerce giant, still dominates the cloud market. The report says that by 2020, 64.3 billion US dollars could have been invested on the global market (the infrastructure as a service). For the first time in 2020, Huawei rose to the top five IaaS providers, with a revenue of $2.7 billion. More than 90 per cent are generated by Greater China, a region in which the cloud market continues to grow rapidly. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a home made innovation which was started by two giants namely Amazon and IBM. These companies each came up with their own cloud platform based on the Openwall project and they named it after themselves. Hence these companies started offering the IaaS in the form of SaaS (Software as a Service) which allows developers to develop applications on demand.
